SORSOGON
CITY, June 12 – Sorsogon Police Provincial Office (SPPO), headed by Provincial
Director Police Senior Superintendent John CA Jambora received the 20 computer
sets and 15 printers donated by the Philippine National Police Foundation
Incorporated (PNPFI) during the turn-over ceremony held at the camp Salvador C.
Escudero, Sr. in Sorsogon City on June 9, 2012.
The
computer sets and printers are intended for the use of Sorsogon police
Provincial Office’s subordinate units in making e-blotters, e-warrant and
e-rogue. “The effort of our donor is a response to the modernization campaign
of the PNP and at the same time a big help to each police stations within the
province specifically in updating their respective stations,” said Provincial
Director Jambora.
The
office equipments were personally handed over to the recipients by no less than
Senator Panfilo M. Lacson, Chairman of the PNPFI with Senator Gregorio B.
Honasan, and Police Director Victor G. Batac (Ret), the Executive Director of
PNPFI.
The
turn-over ceremony was marked by a Confirmation/Signing and Acceptance of
Donation by the beneficiaries and the donor.
The
activity was attended by Police Chief Superintendent Jose Arne M. Delos Santos,
Regional Director of PRO5, SORPPO Staff officers, Mayor Leovic Dioneda of
Sorsogon City, Mr. Fernando O. Duran Jr., Chairman of Provincial Council of
Community Elders, Chiefs of Police and personnel of different City and
Municipal Police Stations, personnel of PHQ and Sorsogon Provincial Public
Safety Company, other support units, members of tri-media and other Local
