DENR Photos

Journalists’ BroadcasTREEing gets geo-tagged. Local broadcast journalists with seedlings on hand, gets geo-tagged as they plant the trees during their annual Oplan BroadcasTREEing in La Playa, Bonot, Legazpi City. Geo-tagging is a photo documentation technology that ascertains photos accurate and within a specific coordinates of a CENRO’s jurisdiction. For three consecutive years, the Kapisanan ng Broadcaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources collaborate pursuant to the National Greening Program (NGP).  (Photo by CENRO Legazpi/PIA-5, Sorsogon) 

DENR backs CSC Tree Planting Event. A team from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Bicol joins up the annual Civil Service Commission tree planting in Malilipot Albay today (September 13, 2013). Hundreds of government workers joined the said event which is in line with the greening program of the government enjoining every employee to plant at least ten trees per year.
