ESSAY WRITING ON SEC. JESSE ROBREDO’S LEGACY. Nineteen (19) high school and five (5) college students participated to the Essay Writing Contest Provincial Elimination on October 26, 2012 at the Teacher’s Hall in Casiguran Central School, Casiguran, Sorsogon. Dubbed as the “Bicol 2012 Essay Writing Competition on the Living Legacy of Secretary Jesse Robredo”, the activity honours the late DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo’s achievements in service. Sec. Robredo inspired many local leaders in the country, as such various sectors of the society had considered him as one good man in the public service. It also aimed at training the youth in their skills in writing based from a given concept/topic and in terms of cursive writing style. Provincial winners from the six provinces in Bicol will compete to the regional match which will be held in Naga City on December 8, 2012. (BARecebido, PIA Sorsogon)
