Environmental Management Conference. Chief Geologist Arlene Dayao (on the lectern) of the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) conveys the message of Regional Executive Director Gilbert Gonzales for the three-day regional conference on innovations for environment protection and management and  disaster risk reduction management which started today (July 25, 2012). The keynote speech focused on milestone projects of the department such as National Greening Program, Bicol River Basin Initiative, pollution control, and disaster risk reduction and management initiative. The conference was spearheaded by the Philippine Association of Tertiary Level Educational Institutions in Environmental Protection and Management (PATLEPAM).
