PNP Sorsogon celebrates Feast of Señor Sto. Niño. Sorsogon Police Provincial Office here headed by PSSupt John CA Jambora together with Staff Officers, personnel of PNP Provincial headquarters, Sorsogon Provincial Public Safety Company and camp residents celebrated the Feast of Senor Sto. Nino at the Camp Salvador C Escudero Sr. on January 20, 2013. A holy mass highlighted the activity. During the homily officiated by Reverend father Bob Sabayton , he urged the church goers to have a devotion to Señor Sto Niño, a child who reflects the quality of a young forgiving and loving boy with a happy disposition and lives a simple lifestyle worth emulation by all Christian families. PNP implements “Linis Bayan – Alis Dengue Program”

SORSOGON CITY, Jan 21 (PIA) – A Clean-up Drive dubbed as “Linis Bayan – Alis Dengue Program” was conducted by the Sorsogon Police Provincial Office (SPPO) headed by PSSupt John CA Jambora to help the Department of Health (DOH) in its drive against the spread of deadly virus dengue fever.

Police Community Relations Office Public Information Officer PCI Nonito F. Marquez of SPPO said the clean-up drive will become part of the regular activities of PNP Sorsogon in their respective offices and surrounding environment to prevent the spread of dengue virus and as part of its support to the government’s environmental protection program.

The activity was conducted at the Camp Salvador C. Escudero Sr, Sorsogon City on January 17, 2013 at 2:00pm.

PNP personnel of Provincial Headquarters, Sorsogon Police Provincial Office and Sorsogon Police Provincial Safety Company cleaned the canals, collected old cans, containers and destroyed possible breeding sites of mosquitoes.
