Tourism/Economic look-in perceived with the completion of the Ariman Junction-Bulusan Lake Road Concreting

Sorsogon City, August 17 (PIA) – “The completion of the two road section of the National Secondary Road connecting Barangays Tagdon and Macabari in Barcelona town of the 2^nd Congressional District of Sorsogon province was perceived as a look-in for economic and tourism circuit,” said 2^nd District Engineer Juanito Alamar of Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Sorsogon.

Alamar said the completed secondary road with approximately 903.00m in length, connects the main highway of the two barangays.

With an allocation of Php20-milliom, said infrastructure project implemented by the DPWH-Sorsogon 2^nd District Engineering Office has two road components, the first section at km 610+499.55 – km 610+920.80 in Brgy. Tagdon while the other section is at km614+277 – km 614+758.63 in Brgy. Macabari.

Said road leads to the famous Bulusan Lake Natural Park, a tourist hub, which also connects the primary access route to the Municipalities of Barcelona, Bulusan and Irosin, all of these towns were rich with historical and tourist attractions.

Engr. Alamar said the completion of the Ariman Junction – Bulusan Lake Road will boost tourism and economic activities in the 2^nd district of Sorsogon. Likewise, the transportation of agricultural produce for trade and market delivery of social services to the basic sector will now be safer and faster. (DPWH/BAR,PIA Sorsogon)
