QUEZON CITY - In observance of the 27th International Coastal Clean-up (ICC)
Day on September 15, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP)
joins the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in
spearheading National Clean-up Month.
The largest volunteer effort for marine resources preservation in the
country aims to raise awareness on the need to protect our coastal areas.
NGCP’s Environmental Management Division is set to coordinate efforts to
support ICC activities in various areas around the country.
NGCP is a privately owned corporation in charge of operating,
maintaining, and developing the country’s power grid. As a socially responsible
company, it is committed to create a sustainable environment and protect the
natural resources, particularly in areas hosting
